Why Astro?

Although JotThatDown began as a straightforward blog, the increasing complexity of customizations and dependencies became cumbersome. Upgrading Gatsby, especially after having posted only a handful of entries, seemed like an unnecessary overhead. Seeking a more efficient solution with fewer moving parts, I explored Astro and decided to give it a try as a more streamlined, modern alternative.
